Then set up your own personal login. The TFS website contains detailed college and career information including athletic scholarships, personality tests, and career aptitude tests. The career aptitude test allows students to fill out a five minute questionnaire and then be presented with a list of careers containing information on job outlook, earnings, nature of work, and more!

SchoolSoup professes to be both the best and the safest place for students to research scholarships on the internet. ANYCOLLEGE.COM is a college search website designed to be one of the most user-friendly college searches available on the Internet. http://www.anycollege.com. The AnyCollege.com scholarship has been increased from 4 $1,000 awards to 4 $2,000 awards per year. We have also partnered with FastWeb and will direct students to the FastWeb scholarship search once they have submitted an application to the AnyCollege.com scholarship. COLLEGEVIEW SCHOLARSHIP SEARCH: www.collegeview.com provides WVHS students and parents with immediate access in the classroom or at home. College View is an exploration program encompassing databases from CollegeView with over 8100 postsecondary institutions, a comprehensive scholarship search, and information on career choices. The CollegeView program is accessible online: Log on to www.collegeview.com. Click on "New User", and complete the registration information creating your own user id and password. (Passwords are case sensitive.)You are now ready to visit the CollegeView Internet Edition anytime, anywhere. After you create your account, all you have to do is enter your name and password to begin your search.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT FINANCIAL AID ADMINISTRATION: Highly recommended for the latest information on financial aid, very informative for parents and students: www.nasfaa.org

THE NATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE: is an association of colleges and universities that have joined together to provide exchange opportunities for their students. College and university students from one NSE member campus can apply for exchange to another NSE member campus for up to one year. NEW LINK: http://www.nse.org

PELL GRANTS: Eligibility for Federal Pell Grant can only be determined through the submission of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid Programs. Nominees are urged to file a 2007-2008 FAFSA at the earliest opportunity and no later than February 1, 2007. Federal Pell Grants typically are awarded to families demonstrating the greatest need. Eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant is a function of many factors, including dependency status, family income, family size, and the number of students in the family. UA SCHOLARS PROGRAM: The UA Scholars Program offers an $11,000 scholarship to the top 10% of the graduates from qualified Alaska high schools each year. Check out their web site: http://www.alaska.edu/scholars/

WESTERN UNDERGRADUATE EXCHANGE PROGRAM: WUE is the Western Undergraduate Exchange, a program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Through WUE, students in western states may enroll in many two-year and four-year college programs at a reduced tuition level: 150 percent of the institution's regular resident tuition.
