Testing
High School Graduation Qualifying Exam:
In 1997, the Alaska Legislature mandated all Alaska high school students to pass tests in reading, writing, and mathematics before receiving a diploma. Practice tests are available in the counseling office. The fall 2009 tests will be administered on October 6, 7, 8, to those juniors and seniors who have not passed one or more portions previously. Sophomores took the combined SBA and HSGQE April 7, 8, 9, 10, 2009. Dates for 2010 are April 6-8.
